Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Ice cubes
  • Oat milk (about 1/2 cup)
  • Optional: Vanilla extract or cinnamon stick for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Brew Espresso:

    • Brew 2 shots of espresso (or about 1/2 cup of strong coffee if you don't have an espresso machine).
  2. Make the Brown Sugar Syrup:

    • In a small cup or bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Stir in about 1–2 tablespoons of hot water until the sugar dissolves to make a syrup.
  3. Shake the Espresso:

    • In a cocktail shaker or a jar with a lid, add the espresso, brown sugar syrup, and a handful of ice cubes.
    • Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds. This will chill the espresso and create a frothy texture.
  4. Assemble the Drink:

    • Fill a glass with ice and pour the shaken espresso mixture over the top.
  5. Add Oat Milk:

    • Top with oat milk to your desired level. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Optional Enhancements:

    • Add a dash of vanilla extract or garnish with a cinnamon stick for a cozy twist.
